The kids from primary school De Boschuil built 300 fanbots (celebrating carnival)!

You can program your fanbot with your own program!
Just insert the Fanbot brain in your PC while you press it’s “nose” and you will see a USB disk appear.
Now make your program here: Blockly Fanbot Compiler page
Press “Compile” and save the “firmware.bin” file on your Fanbot. Unplug your fanbot USB, plug it back in and see your program in action. (Note: downloading the file only works under Windows, and a modern browser is required with JavaScript enabled).
The fanbot brain can do more!
There is an updated software version. The new updated software will allow your fanbot to move continuously, do random moves and smooth motion back and forth. See here how to install the new software on the brain.
During the first workshops, more than a 100 robots are built! The progress can be monitored on this website.
The preparations for the Robocup 2013 competition are gaining momentum. The sports arena is prepared to host teams from all over the world. More than 2500 participants are expected to come over to Eindhoven.
In addition, the stand for the Fanbots is assembled (this is only one section, but it is clear a lot of robots have to be assembled to fill all seats).
During Robocup2013 the FanBots will be built! See this wiki page for background information (dutch).
